Privacy
Draft, last updated November 4, 2026. What Diduno keeps about you, and who sees it.
Your account
You sign in with your school Microsoft account. We keep your name, school email, profile photo, handle, home campus and appearance setting. We also keep Microsoft’s hidden account ids so a ban follows the person, not a new email. Delete your account in Settings at any time; your profile, reports and votes go with it.
Reports
A report holds what you typed (category, cost, name, general and exact location, description), the pin on the map, how long it lasts, and when you posted it. Other signed-in students see your name and photo with it, linked to your profile. People who are not signed in see “A Temple student” instead. A report leaves the map and the feed when its time runs out, when you end it, or when other students mark it gone.
Still there, Gone and Flag are stored with your account, one per report, so nobody can vote twice. Other students see only the totals. Reports flagged by three students are hidden and reviewed.
Location
When you open the report form, your browser asks whether Diduno may use your location. If you allow it, your position fills in the exact location and places the pin. It is used only for that report and is not stored unless you post the report. To look up an address or name a spot, Diduno asks Photon (photon.komoot.io), an OpenStreetMap search service, through our own server, so Photon never sees your IP address.
Chats
Messages you send from the Activity Feed go to the GroupMe group under the name you type. Diduno uses your IP address only to limit how often messages can be sent.
Questions
Post in the Diduno chat on the Activity Feed page.
